We almost had our trailers unloaded from Quarter Horse Congress and it was time to pack up for Equine Affair! Busy fall for the Wire Horse girls. Julie, the Jennys and crew are on their way to Springfield, Mass. as I write this. We are looking forward to another fun and successful event. Equine Affair is always one of our favorite events. What a Great Quarter Horse Congress!

We are all back home and unpacked from this year's All American Quarter Horse Congress. (And some of us are even rested up!) Thanks to all who stopped by and visited our booth in Columbus. CONGRATS JESSE TURK!

Congratulations to Jesse Turk, the winner of the 2011 Lope for Hope saddle donated by The Wire Horse and Dakota Saddle Company!

The drawing was held this past weekend and Jesse walked...or rode...away with this terrific saddle. The event was a huge success with lots of money raised for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. We at The Wire Horse were so glad to be a part of this wonderful program. Thank you CMHA, Katie Hartsuff and Gary Bulemore for letting us be a part of the effort.

Trade Show Season Winding Down

Wow! The Spring season has flown by and we are all anxious for nice riding weather. The trade shows are mostly behind us and we would like to thank all the nice folks who have visited our booths. It is always nice to see our old friends and meet new ones. Traveling around the Midwest gives us that chance to see folks from outside our Michigan area.

We just got home from the World Horse Expo in Reading, PA. Long trip but what a great show! We saw lots of old friends and made some new ones. It felt good to see so many folks out and getting geared up for the spring and summer riding season. Thanks to all of you that stopped by the booth. We are now looking forward to the MSU Stallion Expo, the Hoosier Horse Fair, Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio and the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, Wisconsin.

We have been getting lots of great feedback on our weekly eBay boot auction and also our new Weekly WOW specials. If you haven't seen them yet, here is the scoop.
We have weekly boot auctions in our eBay store and put on new boots every weekend. We offer styles from Ariat, Justin and others. The minimum bid is 99 cents and there is no reserve. That means the boots will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of how low that bid is. There are been some unbelievable deals and you could get in on the action. Wow, what a great weekend we had for our after Thanksgiving sale. The weather cooperated and we saw so many of our long time friends along with some folks who came in to check out our store for the first time. And thanks to all of our out of state (and international) friends who called in orders or emailed us to get in on the sale.
